Curryish allows us true creative freedom. This doesn’t only limit us to take a spin on Indian classics but also create new ones. We want you to be part of this journey. Unlike heavy, greasy style curries, these are simple, healthy and delicious.
The soul of Indian food comes from variety of spices. In our food, it’s coming from our home-made spice blend (Pote’s Masalas). We are using masalas from India that have been made in our families since 1942 by our elders. We are proud to use these in our cooking and look forward to share this culinary experience with you.
The heart and creative mind behind Curryish is Chef Miheer Shete, born in Mumbai and settled in Toronto. With over 20 years of culinary experience in various kitchens; India, UK, USA and now in Toronto, he has developed an apt in creating exceptional dishes. Influenced by European culinary skills and using modern-day techniques in traditional Indian cooking is what sets him apart.
Curryish is his humble way to showcase Indian food in a very approachable way and increase awareness of its versatility.
